Joseph W. Gibley, Esquire

Mr. Gibley graduated from Villanova University in
1983 and graduated
cum laude from the Delaware Law School of Widener
University in December 1987. Mr. Gibley is a member of the Caesar
Rodney Chapter of the American Inns of Court and is a Fellow in the
Academy of Advocacy.
Mr. Gibley is an experienced trial construction
litigator and has represented multiple heavy highway contractors and
general contractors, subcontractors and owners in construction site
litigation. Much of Mr. Gibley’s construction litigation expertise
involves the prosecution and defense of contractual indemnity claims
in wrap-up and standard construction agreements. Mr. Gibley has also
served as National Coordinating Counsel for Allscripts, Inc. in the
Fen Phen litigation.
Mr. Gibley has served as a Course Planner for
Continuing Legal Education with the Philadelphia Bar Education
Center. He most recently served as a Faculty Member for a
Pennsylvania Bar Institute continuing legal education seminar on
deposing witnesses. Before entering the practice of law, Mr. Gibley
served eleven years as a litigation claims professional with Liberty
Mutual Insurance Company, Prudential Property and Casualty Insurance
Company and the AIG Companies.
