Mr. Campbell joined Gibley and McWilliams, P.C. as a Partner in March of 2006. Prior to joining Gibley and McWilliams, Mr. Campbell was a partner at Post
& Schell in Philadelphia, PA.
Mr. Campbell graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984. He graduated from The Dickinson School of Law in 1987 with honors. Upon graduation, Mr. Campbell served as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert N. C. Nix, Jr., then Chief Justice of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Since entering private practice, Mr. Campbell has become renowned for his work in construction accident and construction defect litigation. He represents general contractors, owners, material suppliers and manufacturers. Mr. Campbell has demonstrated the ability to understand complicated indemnification, insurance and contract issues in construction accident and defect litigation and has represented various insurance carriers and their policyholders in coverage matters arising out of these types of agreements. He has tried numerous complicated cases to verdict.
Mr. Campbell is a frequent lecturer on construction and construction defect issues and has authored extensive materials addressing issues in Construction Injury, Construction Defect, and Bad Faith Litigation. Most recently he spoke for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on the defense of residential construction defect cases. He also presented continuing legal education seminars for the National Business Institute and Lorman Educational Services on various construction-related topics.
